Welcome

This meeting will involve the participation of young researchers and experienced experts in the different fields of nucleic acids and nucleosides to create a multidisciplinary and stimulating exchange of knowledge including structural studies, advanced therapies, molecular modeling and bioinformatics, synthetic methodologies and all the aspects involving the chemistry and biology of nucleosides, nucleotides, nucleic acids and related compounds.

This meeting is a part of a series of symposia that have been organized every two years since 1997 in different locations in Spain, the first being in Sitges (1997), followed by El Escorial (1999), Santiago de Compostela (2001), Granada (2003), Alcalá de Henares (2005), Valencia (2007), Jaca (2009), Sevilla (2011), Mieres (2013), Barcelona (2015), Madrid, (2017), Valencia (2019), and Alcalá de Henares (2024).

RANN XIV will take place at the Hotel Barceló Sants in Barcelona, at a centric location of Barcelona, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Spain. In this occasion the RANN XIV Symposium will be celebrated together with the International Round Table on Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Nucleic acids (IRT 2026) organized by the IS3NA Society. Do not miss the opportunity to combine both meetings in a single trip.
